The Word
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.  Genesis 1:1

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.  He was in the beginning with God.  John 1:1  (Word and He refers to Jesus)

But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.  Acts 1:15

As it is written:  There is none righteous, no, not one;  Romans 3:10

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,  3:23

Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned  5:12

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.  6:23

But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.  5:8

That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in you heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.  For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.  10:9-10
